Eligibility Criteria

1. Citizenship

The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.

2. S.S.C. or Equivalent Qualification

• The candidate must have passed the S.S.C. or equivalent examination from any recognized board in Bangladesh.
• The examination should have been completed in the year 2022 or 2023.
• The candidate must have a minimum GPA of 4.00.

3. Higher Secondary/Alim/Equivalent Qualification

• The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary/Alim/equivalent examination in 2025.
• The examination should be from a recognized board in Bangladesh or GCE 'A' level on or after November 2024.
• Minimum requirements for grades:
  • Total grade points of 14.00 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • A minimum grade point of 3.00 in English.
• For admission to the Biomedical Engineering Department, the candidate must have a grade point of at least 4.00 in Biology.

4. GCE 'O' Level and 'A' Level Candidates

• In the GCE 'O' level:
  • Must have obtained an 'A' grade in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
• In the GCE 'A' level:
  • Must have obtained an 'A' grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • For Biomedical Engineering, the candidate must have at least a 'B' grade in Biology.

5. Candidates from Foreign Educational Institutions

• The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary/Equivalent examination in 2025.
• The candidate must have studied for at least 12 academic years.
• Minimum marks required:
  • At least 80% marks or equivalent grade in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
  • At least 70% marks in average or equivalent grade in the secondary/equivalent examination.
